Free Drawing Lessons For 2014

Whew! Another year has passed and the New Year begins. I wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year! May you take your drawings and sketches to the next level.

There’s lots to learn and if you are having difficulty with a drawing do please write to me. I am always available and will respond within 24 hours.

This year I want to teach the following courses until you feel confident enough to do it yourself without copying. There is nothing wrong with copying, the old master’s copied each other frequently and learned much from it.

Free Lessons:

• Free Drawing Lessons For Beginners
• How To Sketch Landscapes
• Flower Drawings in Pencils
• Drawing Beautiful Sketches of Nature
• Easy Sketches to Master
• How To Draw Flowers
• How To Draw Birds
• How To Draw Portraits
• How To Draw Nature
• Drawing Techniques To Master
• How To Draw Funny Cartoons
• How To Draw Trees
• How To Draw People
• How To Doodle and Come Up With Fresh Ideas
• Inspirational Drawings
• Cool Drawings To Copy

If there is something I’ve missed out, please shoot me an email and I will add it to the list.

There is something you can do to help others on this subscriber’s list and that is to load your best images (drawings and sketches) here on this site. We can all learn from other artists, right?

This is how the lessons will be structured:

The lessons will be sent to your email box as a newsletter. In all these lessons you will learn how to develop drawings from start to finish which will include details, texture, shading and contrast.

Initially we will cover materials, your work area, how to hold your pencil, what you are going to draw, sample textures, measuring, a little about perspective, and the value scale.

I will keep these lessons as simple as possible for full understanding. If there is any word or techniques you do not understand, please write to me.

With each lesson there will be a video clip on YouTube to guide you, these demonstrate how easy it is to master the art of drawing.

Chat again soon,

Jon
