Drawing Pencil Sketches Free Drawing Lessons Links
June 04, 2016
Hi Fellow Artists

Well, summer is, at last, really here. Where I am located is 8600 ft above sea level and it is usually pretty cool in early June. But not today as temps were in the mid 70's.

As these balmy days are with us for these next few months, I might guess you are motivated to get out your sketch pad and do a little drawing. I have to confess that I've sharpened my pencil but my canvas is still pristine white. In the next newsletter, I will display some of my work which you can critique or make comments. It is always good to get feedback from fellow sketchers (or painters)

There are some really great works of art popping up now and again on Facebook. I do share on my timeline many of these to try and inspire other people. Maybe you can get a few ideas from some of these paintings?

If you go onto FB and put in the search box "drawing pencil sketches academy" you'll see plenty on my timeline.

One of my favorite sites is Pinterest.com with re- pinning and sharing all the good stuff. There's an abundance of "how to draw" tutorials which can spark your interest.

Even better, go to YouTube where you will discover some really, really good and free lessons.

This brings me to this question: I'd like to run a survey on what you'd really like to see on this site - what you like and what you do not like; what you'd like to see more of. I'd really appreciate and response to make this a better site.

Thanks for reading,

Best regards, Jon
