Yasmin: Art work from my series
Another Art work from my series
"Bitiya" (a daughter). Yasmin, in my sketch, is a two years old little girl from Germany.
She is in her precious golden age of enjoying everything around, curious: touching, feeling, experiencing new things, eager: learning, speaking, catching new-few words. She can speak German, Hindi and English in her own sweet tongue. Her blessed parents are an Indian Mom and a German Dad.
I have never met Yasmin personally. I have seen her only in her pics. When I first saw Yasmin’s photo, I was drowned into her deep probing eyes.
While sketching the little Yasmin, I could feel her tiny fingers, her soft hair, chubby cheeks and tender lips. I could hear her gentle feet stepping around me. Her soothing, broken words sound like a whispering waving windchime refreshing my share of air.
It was an amazing experience to know this cute little one through my sketch. I dream to see her some day in real, out of my pencil and paper.
Indeed "Daughters" are the best gift of God. I tried hard to bring the same innocent, tender, adorable Yasmin in my sketch with her curious, sparkling eyes. Pairing Charcoal on Poster paper was reasonably a fair option for this journey. I wish to capture the real sparkles of her eyes on colours in my next level of work.
