The Art of Drawing & Painting Landscapes

Hello Folks, Artists and Friends,

There's no excuse not to get out your easels and pencils and get productive with your landscape drawings.

They are fun and easy to do. When packing your materials don't forget to take your viewfinder which will enable you to select the best view. Start off with rough thumbnail size sketches (that's about 3 inches square).

Don't forget also to use "the rule of thirds" which I sent to you about a month back. This leads your viewers eyes to the focal point in your picture.

In the next issue I want to give you some information about the elements of good special divisions. This is also an important part of making your drawings dynamic. So stay tuned.

-------------------------------------------------------------- There are still plenty of submissions where contributors forget to load up their images/photos so there is nothing I can do but delete them. It is a fairly simple method of loading so follow along with the instructions and your page will be emailed to you.

Also will you please crop your images and edit them as some of them you can't see the image at all, it's kinda all over black!

Use it is free photo editing software you can use and crop and make your images lighter.

Yours in Creative Drawings
