Abe Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination April 1865. There is much to be said about Abe who abolished slavery, crisis. In so doing he preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the national government and modernized the economy. (from Wikipedia).

We are more interested in the many cartoons of Lincoln than his political career—there must be hundreds of drawings and cartoons done before his assassination and a lot more since.

His face is unmistakable with his hair style and beard which makes him instantly recognizable! If you only draw these, most people will know who he is and so very easy to draw.

Even if you exaggerate any of his facial features, you'll still recognize him! Having said that, why not get out your pencils and make a copy of him from this drawing. Then lease load it up on this site.
